For me, poetry is condensed expression, intensity in short form. Some I create as visual poems that can be read aloud as much as the next, but I mean them to be taken as a visual experience either in print or online. Others are written to be performed – always reading them aloud as I scribble, editing to the sound, the rhythm, the feel of spoken words and how they resonate with me. Regardless of my intention, if you connect with them in whatever form you experience them in, that means something to me too. I write about my experiences or those around me and the things that I feel passionate about.
